The OFL permits bundling a font with any software, on conditions we now meet explicitly. The file is byte-identical to Microsoft's own release (sha256 528f9214...), so it is not a Modified Version and the Reserved Font Name clause does not apply. Condition 2 wants the copyright notice and the licence in every copy: CascadiaMono-OFL.txt ships beside the .ttf and travels into the bundle with the rest of the assets. Condition 5 wants the font under that licence and no other, which the Apache LICENSE at the root would otherwise have appeared to claim -- so NOTICE and the README now carve it out by name. Also says plainly that Microsoft does not endorse MeshTerm, since condition 4 allows acknowledgement and nothing more. The README's font section predated the Windows Terminal offer and named a preference that has since been renamed; it now leads with the terminal, as the app does.
